I have worked in education for 7 years. I was a teaching assistant in Plymouth for 2 years before starting my PGCE in Primary Education. After graduating from Plymouth University in 2018, I became a teacher here at Torre. 

 

Before joining Torre and during my university studies, I was a ballet teacher for a dance school in Brixham. I taught many age groups from baby ballet right up to adult classes. I loved dancing and would choreograph dances for the dance school’s annual show. If I wasn’t teaching ballet, I was dancing myself and spent 12 years dancing. I even have my very own pair of pointe shoes! 

 

Since joining Torre, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching in both KS1 and LKS2 which I’ve really enjoyed. I am currently teaching in UKS2 in Penguins class, and I am the PE lead of the school. 

 

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and going on lots of walks. In July 2022, my husband and I welcomed our daughter into the world, and we have really enjoyed becoming parents for the first time.
